Holidays are when a house runs out of beds. A rig on the driveway or at a site nearby gives visiting family somewhere of their own to sleep, ten steps from the table. Or take the whole holiday away and let someone else own the kitchen for once.
Overflow beds for a full house
Thanksgiving and Christmas are our two busiest weeks for exactly this. We deliver to a driveway or a nearby site, connect what can be connected, and collect it when everyone has gone home. Nobody sleeps on a sofa and nobody pays for a hotel.
Or go away for the whole thing
A holiday somewhere else, with no house to clean before and after, is its own kind of rest. The Outer Banks in December is quiet in a way it never is in July.
Book these earlier than you think
Thanksgiving and Christmas are the first dates to go and the fleet is small. If you are thinking about it in October you are already close to the edge.

Prices are a starting nightly rate. Delivery is quoted per trip on real mileage, so the number you get is the number you pay.

Can I rent an RV for Thanksgiving or Christmas guests?
Yes, and it is one of the most common reasons people call us in November and December. We deliver to your driveway or a nearby campground so visiting family have their own beds and their own bathroom, without a hotel.
How far in advance should I book a holiday RV rental?
Earlier than you would expect. Thanksgiving and Christmas dates go first, often months out, and the fleet is small. New Year and July 4th are close behind.
Can the RV be delivered to my driveway rather than a campsite?
Usually yes, if there is safe access and somewhere level to put it. Tell us the address when you ask and we will say honestly whether it works.
Is an RV warm enough in December in Virginia?
Yes. They are heated and we prep them for the season. Tell us the dates and we will make sure the rig goes out ready for the weather it is going into.
What about New Year or July 4th?
Same thing, same advice. Both are peak dates for a small fleet, so the earlier you ask the more likely we can say yes.
