Hearth and Home

A portion of every booked night funds Home Starter Kits and mentorship for young adults aging out of foster care, in partnership with Embrace Therapeutic Foster Care.

Our founder is a therapeutic foster parent in Hampton Roads. Hearth and Home grew out of that work. We do not run the program ourselves; we fund it. Every booking that comes through Compass and Code contributes.

It is written into how the business operates, not added on at the end of a good year.

How It Works

Three things happen with every booking

i.

You book a stay

An RV rental, a residential stay or a partnership. Any revenue source counts toward the contribution.

ii.

A portion is allocated

A percentage of each booked night flows toward the initiative. The amount scales with how much we book overall.

iii.

It reaches a young adult

Embrace places the resources directly: bedding, kitchen basics, transition support and mentorship.

A Hampton Roads organization that places youth in stable foster homes and supports them through the transition into adulthood. Our founder served as a foster parent through Embrace before launching this business.
