Hampton renters often forget how close they are to the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel. If you are headed to the Eastern Shore, a 25-minute drive puts you on the bridge. The same goes for OBX trips: Hampton is one of the easier launch points because you skip the Norfolk/Virginia Beach traffic crawl heading south.
